Liberated movement
Azaris has four rear in-wheel motors and a sophisticated fluid drive system.
The in-wheel motors are light, quiet and highly responsive with a volumetric efficiency of up to 98%.
They are also efficient across a broad speed range in contrast to the various categories of traditional hydraulic motors.
The in-wheel motor liberates the wheels and provides Azaris with a unique set of characteristics that go beyond a traditional vehicle.
Rocker
Innovative suspension
The rear wheels of Azaris are fitted with a unique rocker suspension that provides the potential to navigate extreme terrain with greater skill.
The rocker structure has internal channeling for the transfer of fluid power to the connected in-wheel motors.
DNA Arms
Strong yet agile like water
The DNA arms design is inspired by flowing water and the double helix to provide Azaris with a unique structure to hold the rocker suspension.
The DNA arms structure is strong, light, adaptable and will progress with 3D printing advancements in the future.
Power Source
Application specific power
Azaris can be configured with a combustion engine or an electric motor linked to a fluid pump to drive the in-wheel motors.
The Ferox fluid transmission system is particularly well matched to receive the power from an electric motor, as it can efficiently transfer the torque characteristics of an electric motor to the wheels.
The size and specifications of the power source is customisable for specific applications and performance criteria.
Pump

The pump interface in Azaris transforms mechanical power into fluid power to drive the in-wheel motors.
The pump provides smooth and continues power at a volumetric efficiency of up to 98% to the in-wheel motors. High efficiencies allow for cooler operating systems and can reduce or eliminate additional fluid reservoirs.
Coaxial Piping & Connectors
Fluid control efficiency
Azaris utilises a coaxial system in which high pressure pipes are encased by low pressure pipes for increased safety, cooling, and fluid control efficiency.
The Ferox coaxial system opens up new possibilities to 3D print the fluid channels within a vehicle structure.
